The Roses

A strange title for a gallery of images that do not contain any roses you might think however......

On Monday I was taken to see the film of that title which I did not realise was a remake of 'War of the Roses' from the eighties, with Olivia Coleman and Benedict Cumberbatch reprising the roles played by Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas in 1981. This being set largely on the west coast of the US it inspired me to search the archives for these photos from a road trip of 2014 to the US, driving the Pacific Highway from San Francisco to Morrow Bay. In reality of course the new film is purported to have been filmed mainly in Cornwall in lieu of the Pacific Highway....shame
